If you are passionate about finance and eager to contribute to a thriving company, EF is the place for you.About the role:EF Education First is looking for an ambitious, career-driven and enthusiastic Accounting Manager to join our finance team at the office in Cambridge, MA.What you'll do:

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department in conjunction with the Business Process Offices including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
  • Prepare and/or review and approve complex journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany transactions and allocations.
  • Support and coordinate preparation of internal and external audit engagements.
  • Preparation and/or review of corporate income tax and indirect tax matters, ensuring compliance with local laws and transfer pricing regulations.Who you are:
  • Minimum 4 years of accounting experience, accounting firm experience considered a plus.
  • University and Master's degree in Accounting or Finance; accounting certification (CA, CPA, ACCA) considered an asset.
  • Experience with Oracle or similar ERP environment.
  • Effective in communication as well as presenting information clearly and credibly.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills.
  • Flexible and able to multitask / proactive and flexible.
